Team Demon!
It never fails to amuse real Christians that the heretics peddling the 7 Mountains nonsense literally are cultists for Trump, a man who embodies the seven deadly sins. Every single day, Trump reveals himself and these demented dummies are all onboard.
It is no coincidence that organized religion is in a free fall as millions recoil from the utter hypocrisy and insanity of what is occurring.
People will scream and rave about “groomers” all day long while these freaks are openly bragging about their efforts to indoctrinate children. Meanwhile the people who follow Jesus’ teachings are baking casseroles for their recently widowed neighbor or organizing a donation drive for the homeless shelter.
Oh, but
- Gawd often uses “imperfect tools” – see Saul of Tarsus
- But he’s forgiven!!
- He’s promoting our (aka Gawd’s) goals, so we must support Him
The beauty of the True Believers is that, regardless of any facts staring them in the face, they can rationalize them away.
I guess that the 7 Mountains followers aren’t squeamish about working with the Devil’s spawn. But I also wonder what they make of Stephen Miller?
I have a few questions for the tired old Democratic leaders who I know are on this site.
When will enough be enough?
What is your plan to undo the damage? Do you have one? Do you give a fuck?
Do you ever plan on fighting back, or has all this been a 50-year Kabuki dance of bullshit?
Are you on the side of democracy or just hanging onto what you’ve accumulated?
You keep fighting progressives, how is that not working with the right?
Are you with us, or against us?
When you can’t dazzle them with brains, baffle them with bullshit.
Needs to be stamped out or, the extent it can’t be, then subjugated, brought under control and rendered powerless and inert. Period. Theocracy is a societal fucking madness.
See, the thing is, I don’t allow other people to tell me what I should believe about the world. If I did indulge in fantasies about conversing with God, it would be my business alone. These effing religious nuts are going to try to dismantle this country and our constitutional style of government. They must be stopped.
The world will end in nuclear fire because a bunch of ignorant imbeciles will decide that their imaginary friend wants them to do it. Religion is, and always has been, nothing but mind control. It needs to be eradicated before one of these cults (and they are all cults) ends up killing us all in their stupid god’s name.
We have to acknowledge that we are dealing with fanatics and psychotics. Anyone who believes they are empowered to murder one or a hundred or a million fellow human beings on the say-so of an imaginary god is a cancer on humanity. But here’s the problem. They believe they are foot soldiers in god’s army, fighting to purify the world on god’s orders. What would sick, stupid, gullible people possibly stop at if they believed they were under holy orders from their god? The obvious answer is nothing.
So now, yes, they need to be stopped. Given what we’re up against, we cannot stop at anything either.
Jerome Savonarola,[7] was an ascetic Dominican friar] from Ferrara and a preacher active in Renaissance Florence. He became known for his prophecies of civic glory, his advocacy of the destruction of secular art and culture, and his calls for Christian renewal.
It’s a constant thread through religion. Periodically you get these charlatans whipping up the masses, their stupidity reinforced by religion. Savonarola destroyed large amounts of art and literature in his “bonfires of the vanities.” Fortunately, works by Michelangelo and da Vinci escaped his fires, but it’s impossible to know what works of genius were destroyed.
Eventually, Savonarola met an appropriate fate after disobeying the Pope. An appropriate fate for these charlatans is for their “ministries” to be ignored and their influence evaporated. Let them go to their graves knowing that society has turned its back on their fraud.
In my view, we make a big mistake if we take the religious part of this seriously and especially if we call them “CHRISTIANS”. That is these people use religion, in fact cloth themselves in religion, but religion itself is not anything close to what they represent of stand for.
Rather, what they stand for is POWER for themselves. They want to own all of society. This is no difference between this group and would be dictators except for their reliance on religious dogma and rhetoric.
There are many examples of groups like this who oppose and fear progress and tolerance as weakening their status and use that fear in others to gain power through speaking in religious terms.
You will note nowhere in this discussion do these groups talk about morality but rather only divinity and in “us versus them” terms. Any acceptance of “them” is betrayal of “us”.
Thomas Jefferson, like many others, have written about these movements and these people who ignore the “morality of Christ” and instead use the “divinity of Christ” to divide and conquer for political purposes calling them “fake Christians”.
And if we want to hit them where it hurts, and by that I mean cause real Christians to question their faith as I doubt they really have any faith other than a belief in POWER for themselves, we will do what Thomas Jefferson has done and label them FAKE CHRISTIANS.
To do anything else, treat their beliefs seriously coming from Christ and not made up to fool good people, we are giving them the authenticity they need.
Who is, how do you define “us” here, please?
If ever there was a troll question, this would be it
I’ve been howling in the wilderness about the Seven Mountains Mandate since Project 2025 was released. It is certainly based on a Dominionist worldview, which isn’t terribly surprising; after all, the Heritage Foundation was created to support and further that view.
The destruction of the Federal government that we’re witnessing is part of the 7MM plan; in their view, the Federal government is so demonically compromised that it is irredeemable. The only way forward is to destroy it and start over.
And by destroying the government, the nation’s structural support, they will put stress on the American population. When the people despair, the 7MM crew plan to step in to offer order and their own structure. It’s a twofer! And, yes, it’s also as evil as any plan for national conquest from within as any tyrant in history has come up with.
They don’t care that people will die when they slash Medicaid. They don’t care that people will die when they slash NOAA. They don’t care that people will die when they outlaw all abortions for any reason. All appeals to reason and compassion will be met with disdain; all those deaths aren’t a bug, they’re a feature. They want to wear down the population to the point that folks will submit to their domination.
It’s bad juju all the way around. No matter how I look at it, I cannot see this ending any way but very badly.
AKA Malignant Narcissists United. The Hare Krishna Cult was ahead of its time. Just turn off your mind and float down stream but don’t forget to donate.
Yes. And the one shortcoming of this article is that the phrase “prophetic gifting” should be changed to “prophetic grifting.”
My friend in the Hare Krishna’s worked on their temple in West Virginia. I was surprised how well they integrated into that rural area. Their approach to life was similar to rural farmers or the Amish. Their text of the Bhagavad Gita had similarities to the Old Testament. Not surprising, since both texts were describing battles between ancient tribal monarchies with pre-science, feudal, social hierarchies. The existential question being, how to get God on your side. I give the nod to the Gita for being more pluralistic in religion and to the Old Testament, King James version, for its elegant, Elizabethan language.
