I worked in a medical school and taught med students. I taught “Do no harm” as a central theme. And then taught them the biochemistry of steroids as part of a team taught course. This Florida governor is actively courting a major disaster. To all at TPM… It is my advice to avoid the state entirely. If you were going to visit, cancel your trip. If you live there …please consider moving if at all possible. It’s gonna be getting ugly in St Pete. Save your life, do not visit the state,

Who paid for Bannon’s bail? Putin or Kim Jong-Un?
If Republicans spent half as much time working on real problems instead of trying to project their own corruption on others, they might be able to figure out why the virus, hurricanes and wildfires or the economy are out of control.
Or why they are losing both the Senate and the White House.

While some results of TIP’s experiment were legitimately alarming — in one scenario, for example, “Trump” invoked the Insurrection Act — others were outlandish.
Does anyone really believe, for instance, that Joe Biden, having lost the Electoral College this November, will encourage western states to secede and form a new political entity, “Cascadia,” unless Republicans agree to grant statehood to Puerto Rico and D.C, divide California up five ways, abolish the Electoral College and institute a retirement age of 70 at the Supreme Court?
Well, if the article hadn’t already stated so, we’d have known from the above that some of the TIP participants were Republicans.
It’s pretty clear that we as a nation blew a saving throw back in 2016.

The endless projection of the Trump family, Bannon, et al can be turned into a series of right-wing themed movie theaters replacing bankrupt anchor stores in remaining malls across America once the pandemic ends, or even if it doesn’t.

This Bannon effort seems very sinister, except that I recall two things. One is that Bannon’s really been discredited among Americans with a functioning brain who are not gangsters. It’s no longer fun to see how far he’ll go, knowing what he’s done already. Second, assuming Democrats win big in the election and it is widely reported and believed among people in the real world, this counterstory about Dems stealing anything is going to fall flat. We’ll of course wait to see if Bannon gets Trump to call out the Border Patrol to seize the capital, but I don’t think that would be as easy a move as this simple poisoning of the minds of the Trump base.

Maybe just re-create Biosphere and put Bannon, Barr, Miller, Manafort, Stone, and all the rest in there. Seal it, and just let them out for their trials. The ones that survive, that is.
