Donald J. Trump and his minions and supporters are domestic terrorists. We need to let that sink into our consciousness and act on it.

Not sure but she may be dreaming of indictments

Maybe fake electors wasn’t such a good idea after all, right Republicans? Lets not forget they are all guilty, not just the obvious nitwits and losers.

These small minded ‘electors’ were willfully manipulated by higher ups. TFG being the head of the rotting fish. He needs to go in the chum bucket.

“The Jan. 6 Committee recently showed footage from interviews with top Trump campaign officials in which they directed questions about the scheme to Chesebro and Giuliani.”

Things are now so hot for Rudy that he’s just retained the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis Total Landscaping.

DOJ needs to thoroughly investigate the criminal organization that made a terrorist attack on the government to which I pay taxes.

If the Drumpf Organization and Drumpf himself didn’t want to be investigated, they wouldn’t have committed so many high-profile crimes!

Flipping the people who were in charge of this fraudulent electors scheme makes their testimony potentially available on the much more serious charges of obstruction of an official proceeding and maybe even seditious conspiracy. So this is not just some low level thing, it is an effort to work the chain into the White House.

I would think that by going after the fake electors, that then leads the DOJ to the higher ups. The state electors were picked from the state’s GOP party. So if Trump’s lawyers contacted them with this scheme no wonder they went along with it.
Is that Rico suave I smell wafting in the air?

These people strike me as the kind of folks who’d rather not be spending their evenings in jail singing the national anthem with their fellow inmates while waiting for their trials. They have Other Things to Do, dammit!

They’ll talk pretty readily.

Wisconsin fake elector, Robert Spindell is running to be on the Wisconsin Election Commission. Just the guy they need in charge of elections.

Campaign slogan:

“Spindell knows fraud, and only the best fraud–no one has ever seen election fraud like he has!”

You can’t break the rules and subvert the laws this way without lawyers. All of those involved are still operating with impunity. Where ARE their State oversight boards??? Why are they still in business???

It does appear to me that the noose is beginning to tighten. Anyone for popcorn?

Does this have any impact on these state electors?

But two other states — Pennsylvania and New Mexico — added language to saying that the electoral votes would only be counted as legitimate if the courts ruled that their election had been invalid.

Eastman and Chesebro seem like they would be particularly soft targets, but it’s unclear they had any insight on the violent sedition part of the coup plan. Rudy’s probably pretty close to unusable as a prosecution witness. If they manage to nail Meadows on all the attempted electoral fraud – and he’s clearly up to his neck in it – would he become willing to turn on Trump? Maybe.

Getting close to RICO territory, I would think.

It’s the alternate electors, the effort to have states that Biden won vote for Trump in the Electoral College by swearing in false delegates from each state. Now, DOJ is running a high-profile investigation of the effort, issuing subpoenas to GOP activists involved in the plot.

If the scheme had worked as planned the fake electors would have been golden. All pardons, no prosecutions. When it went belly up, they were probably surprised to become targets.
