There are cynically sailing against the wind - it is the big con to get Americans to give up on democracy and embrasure a totalitarian oligarch led form of government -
They are tacking back & forth trying to find angles to that get them incrementally closer to their goal -
Right now they are working the hate angle - vigorously … hammering away on the idea that it is better to put control of the country & “way of life” in the hands of a "fine conservative " tough guy leader … far better that letting this democracy / rule of the majority stuff lead to a situation where the country of run by a bunch of blacks, Mexicans and women …
everybody wants a fair & level playing field - until it makes it possible that the traditional all-powerful / traditional force that always gets to be crowned the winner … is suddenly having to compete on an equal basis - just like all of the other players - that is when the sorehead / bad sport whips out some lethal weapon and screams “I win damn it … I always win! Yes! It doesn’t matter whether they’re motivated by culture wars, “economic anxiety,” whatever the case may be, it’s irrelevant. What’s relevant is the danger they pose. Bring the full weight of the law down on their heads and watch a bunch of them suddenly decide that coups just aren’t for them anymore.

It’s safe to speculate that late summer/early fall is when the first of many indictments come out and with that arrest and arraignment.
But Trump is a coward. He’s terrified of the thought of going to prison.

The “forgotten people” haven’t been forgotten. They are simply the people who are incapable of running things. The MFWWNBN told them that they are “forgotten people” who should be in charge of things. No they shouldn’t. They don’t know how. That’s the lynch pin of this entire episode. He tells losers that the only reason they are losers is because we are keeping them losers. So now they are mad as hell at us and deep into the stupid and crazy since the motherfucker has goaded them to be both to the fullest extent possible.
