I was thinking he started planning on about 1/21/17.

The moment he figured out he could get away with any crime he could commit.

The 2020 election overturn conspiracy started in 2016 when Donald Trump asked himself how he could become King.

Public Opinion polling is done by every one, but no one does more polling than the GOP. Their polling revealed he was going to lose re-election, so they started scheming and lost their collective minds, inventing ways to defraud us of our right to vote. To hell with trump, his family, and all of his co-conspirators. They wanted to take away our democracy, and place an authoritarian as head of our Country.

This looks like a slam dunk for criming in WI

Cross posted

@davidkonline, perhaps Josh Kaul and the Milwaukee and Dane County prosecutors would like a call from TPM asking why they aren’t taking action on one of the biggest and most consequential crimes in WI history? The Fraud Electors are a whos-who of RW Wisconsin royalty.

I wouldn’t use the past tense for this sentiment. They’re still trying.

Will Josh Kaul lose the right-wing vote by prosecuting these?

All of his work is leaning toward taking the governor’s chair next election. He can’t afford to lose any votes, so he will not pursue this.

I hope he makes me wrong about this.

May every Bubbe in the country do this Greg every damn day.

Trump started in 2016 when he first started inculcating his supporters with the idea that the Presidential election was could be stolen from him.

Given that the hypothesis that every accusation from him is a confession has had substantial subsequent validation . . .

If someone forces his hand, he can claim it was THEM not HIM. I hope you aren’t correct, that he is doing this because of his own ambitions. If so, he doesn’t deserve my vote, he hasn’t covered himself in glory wielding the sword of justice in this state. Not saying he hasn’t done anything (I don’t follow him closely) but he isn’t cutting much of a figure here in any other ways…and is just ignoring the whole RW upper echelon committing fraud and trying to steal every man and woman’s vote in the state.

I tried making a snarky statement about this but quickly found that it was way too over the top.

The Onion headlines keep writing themselves.

Goes much further back. Gerrymandering, the minoritarian structure of the senate, the filibuster, various other voter suppression mechanisms, and state control of elections (which ironically, also perpetuates safe and secure voting outcomes).

All solved by a constitutional right to vote.

Yes Donnie was whining about the election, 2016 being stolen from him in 2016.
For the life of me I can’t understand how anyone can become inured to Donnie’s constant whining, need to constant attention.

FAFOFinally

Far-right activist Ammon Bundy was slapped with 8-figure damages by a jury on Monday, in a defamation trial brought by an Idaho hospital he harassed, reported The Daily Beast on Monday.
(I know this was reported yesterday but I did not see the 50 million dollar figure…wow)

According to the report, the jury decided that Bundy, Rodriguez, and the entities they control are liable for $26.5 million in compensatory damages, and almost $26 million in punitive damages.

Been a while and memory is hazy. But my view of Oppenheimer was a man charged with creating a horrible weapon in the midst of an equally horrible war. He felt the weight.

Teller, sage and given so much gravity was basically, More toys! Those wonderful, wonderful toys!

Ammon counting on Trump’s Federalist Society stooges to overturn that verdict.
