How A Lawyer For Eastern European Oligarchs Fueled The Fever Dream Of An Election Reversal | Talking Points Memo

Bruce Marks has a story to tell.

He’s been a litigator this year on President Trump’s futile and ham-handed bid to overturn the results of the election in Pennsylvania.

These are people who are demonstrably dishonest. They have no respect for the Justice System they are taking advantage of and destroying.

And that case is another reason why the courts should be at the campaign’s disposal for seeking remedy. How’s that going? Oh yeah, 1-49.

Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

And so it begins… As the tangled web is deconstructed, the spiders who wove it will hide away.
…quite conspicuously.

But that case is no longer active, correct?

But what drew the Trump campaign to Marks and Marks to the Trump campaign wasn’t his familiarity with the rough-and-tumble world of post-Soviet business

… was the classic story of the stupidity of the marks and the greed of both the marks and the con man.

Actually, this whole episode makes perfect sense for Blotus in 2020: using an unrelated case that will make thousands of legitimate votes disappear like magic. Kind of like the virus…

This is what I was thinking. I guess we could add that Trump has been too cheap to hire experienced investigators. And I would think that any judge in the courts would immediately throw out any motions, pleadings, etc., etc., if it had Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman, or Project Veritas names attached.

Wait. You’re telling me that Trump, in 1994, flew in to participate in a campaign event for a Pennsylvania state office, for a candidate who happened to be connected to Russia-adjacent oligarchs?

Look, he wasn’t even a Republican back then, let alone a politician, and he didn’t have significant business interests in that state. WTF?

Makes me think Putin is the biggest loser in Trump’s defeat.

Russian #MOB. Brighton Beach, 1980s. His father was a money launderer for the Gambinos, and when the Russians took out the Italians, they took over Donald too.

@LincolnsBible has been on this, literally, for years.

Out of curiosity why would a New York City developer be interested in an election of a state Senator in Pa. in 1994?

Just like coal mine owners and other resource extractors, they don’t care if they completely destroy the environment or the country, all they care is their own profit.

Need I ask why Ukraine comes up again in the Benadick Donnie saga, in particular a lawyer to Ukrainian oligarchs?

I do understand that this fine lawyer has his ready explainer. But it is an explainer without an explanation of why exactly to really become involved with the crazy of Benadick.

“But the aliens had to intervene to stop Donald Trump when he appeared ‘on the verge’ of blurting out their secrets, he told Israeli paper Yediot Aharonot.”

And yet, the aliens felt no need to stop Eshed from blurting it out to an Israeli newspaper.

Uh huh.
