Just don’t issue any of the permits. Unlawful assembly. You know gas, semi-lethal projectiles.

Well, at least we now know of ONE Republican official who has some common sense, not to mention a healthy respect for what the Coronavirus is capable of doing to his city. Thank you Mayor Turner.

Does Texas still have a drive in movie theater? I mean it’s Texas, and everything bigger in Texas so they must still have one. Or does the Texas Republican Party have $6000 to buy each attendee their own Zorb ball?

Every time they go to an event with more than X number of people then they get tagged for each event.
I can just see the game wardens being entrusted with driving around with their radio antennas checking wear these party people are.

“…We shut down the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, and this event is no greater and no better.”

Right. The livestock show has all kinds of livestock. This is only going to have pigs.

Well they announced yesterday that the State Fair of Texas which is a big fucking deal, is cancelled for 2020. That ought to be a big fat clue to the rest of the state, even bigger than the cancellation of SXSW.
