House Requests Deposition From Mick Mulvaney

The House committees overseeing the impeachment inquiry requested deposition from acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney, outlining in a letter sent Tuesday that they believe Mulvaney has “first-hand knowledge” of President’s Trump Ukraine pressure campaign.

Easy guess…Deal-With-It Mulvaney will NOT comply or be deposed!

Ok, next step…subpoena then if still not complying, fine him 50k/day or 1% of income, whichever is higher. Still not complying, garnish wages, then freeze assets!

Lemme save you some time: No.

Of course he won’t comply, but I still like that they made the request. It highlights the obstruction.

Nice trolling from the Dem chairs.

Just filling the squares on the Article for Obstruction of Congress for Trump’s Impeachment and removal. Also allows the new AG to incarcerate “Malignent Mick” on Obstruction charges in January 2021. Couldn’t happen to a bigger little bastard !

I hope Sondland’s includes notations on where he “clarified” things…

Let’s see, what’s it going to be? Executive privilege, my feet hurt or I was on mind altering drugs that day and just can’t remember?

are we ever going to move beyond the polite request part, into taking all of these jokers to court?

or are we just going to hear the refrain “this is more evidence of Trump’s obstruction of congress” until our ears are bleeding?

(hint – claiming ‘obstruction of congress’ is preaching to the choir. )

Why the request? Just subpoena him, which he will then ignore, and add it to the K2-sized Obstruction of Congress file.

Once the real impeachment starts with the senate trial will Mulvaney still be able to not show up?
Or would he sit there in the dock and take the fifth amendment under oath?
This is going to be crazy. A lot of folks like Mulvaney ended up in prison after Watergate.

No one on team Trump has claimed exec privilege yet – so Mulvaney will claim ‘immunity’ like everyone else.

Keep shining light on Mulvaney and watch him squirm.

“House members also raised the disastrous press conference that Mulvaney led last month…”

Is that necktie a plea for help, or just for easy ID after they’ve under-bussed him?

I am having a hard time understanding how this stonewall policy is supposed to help Trump. There is a ton of evidence and any sane defendant would be doing everything possible to actually refute it.

Just got the breaking headline pushed to me… This is BIG. People with nothing to hide don’t accidentally lie about the critical central details.
