So I ran the numbers to see if this was on pace with last term -

As of 7/31/17 there were eight GOP Reps who had announced their intent to leave Congress or had already left, compared to seven at the same point in this term.

Which means the pace is faster now, since there are less of them actually in the House, lol.

I find the idea of a “nation” an odd concept. I really don’t feel like I’m from anywhere. Patriotism, national pride, etc are alien notions.
