The House impeachment inquiry focusing on the Trump administration’s Ukraine conduct is ramping up: House committees have scheduled depositions for several key State Department officials and issued a subpoena for related records.
“The House warned that a failure to comply on either front [appearing for deposition and producing documents] will be cited as obstruction in the impeachment inquiry.”
Getting serious and making it clear this will move along with consequences for stonewalling.
Good for the Democrats, they came out really strong in demanding that these people and documents appear…calling any delays “obstruction of impeachment” is a good thing to see here. You can pretty much guarantee that the Trump administration will try to block any cooperation with Congress; the strong statement demanding compliance should clear out any court cases quickly, and I hope the House starts applying penalties after that point.
Things are really going to move now, that’s pretty clear…and it looks like they are going to run down all the avenues they can to get information. Now, we wait to see what happens next.
Well, isn’t that suspicious…I guess the question is if he’s going to try to get the stories straight with the Russians, the Ukrainians, both, or if he’s just going to ask Russia for asylum. What an idiot…hopefully Congress can reach out and touch him as well for all of his shenanigans.

Has slightly more gravitas than just a standard congressional inquiry. Good!
BTW: that rally Trump wants to hold in Minneapolis is deliberately scheduled to take place in Omar’s district in an attempt to flip it in 2020. Not everyone is thrilled with the idea of the rally, period:
