I tried following some of the stories about Massie and his forcing legislators to get back to DC. Then they stopped it by taking a voice vote…but how if people were on planes or did they not have to travel? I see here some rep posted a photo of them on a near empty plane…so Massie forced people to take plane rides that didn’t even prove to be necessary? My gawd. Even if he wasn’t being a complete jerk-bait and was trying to hew to a constitutional standard, what a dangerous and costly mess.

Few people in the Trump Cult really believe that Covid-19 is a threat at all. That’s who Trump is talking to…that’s who the AL Governor is talking to (and she is a Roy Moore fan!).
Remember the old Star Trek Episode about the Gunfight at the OK Corral. Spock was able to Mind Control Kirk, McCoy, Scottie to join him… (and the bullets went right through!!!)

Amidst the massive stimulus bill and pandemic news, let us NOT forget that Trump is very busy attacking his perceived enemies like the governors ie Whitmer at the cost of American Lives. Trump is also busy attacking our Freedom of Speech…Take a listen to the ad.

I think I see what @doctorbiobrain was trying to say. Under Clinton, politics would reign supreme. Instead of one or two states, all red states would say “fuck socialist, democratic social distancing and fuck helping the poors.” The stimulus would be helpful to a small percentage of the working class, as opposed to the 500 billion we are handing out. Democrats would be forced to accepting a very Republican bill or no bill at all. Why? Because the FOX, conservative machine would be on full DEFCON screaming socialism under a Clinton Presidency, and MSM would bothsider everything. Clinton would be seen as incompetent and the Sanders crowd would pile on.
With the circumstances now, we have a stupid, inept Republican President saying stupid, inept things regularly. The Republicans now have to argue between dumfuckery or science. Dumbfuckery will only last so long when people start dying.
I’ve heard it said that if we had a Democratic President, we would not have seen a unanimous passage for the stimulus. I agree.
