I agree but when you find yourself in such a catch 22 you have to make a decision that extracts the best from it. The House won’t do a damn thing to this guy. Probably wouldn’t in an off year either. But if things go as they seem they will they won’t need subpoenas in 7 months for most of what they want.

I don’t see how that could be. They’re just people…not Gods. If they lose control over Congress and the White House they’ll be powerless to do what you say. For two reasons. The first is they’ll lack the position to do so. The second is they’ll be where they are because the American People were sick of their bullshit. If they lose, as many predict, they’ll be up against a mandate and their smarter halves, the brains in the shadows, will caution against doing again what got them where they are.
Trump ended the Conservative Agenda as it’s been since Reagan. They’ll need a new shtick.
