Enough announcing intentions… Just. Do. It.

Do whatever constitutional power you have to stop the charlatans from sabotaging USPS as a tool to re-elect Trump and privatize it later for their profits! USPS is NOT a business that exists for profits, it exists as a service for WeThePeople, not Wallstreet or 1%!

Com’on we have to give NoJoy’s minions time to backdate a whole slew of documents, it takes time to cover one’s tracks when you don’t think ahead.

…which the corrupt Postmaster General DeJoy will likely non-promptly ignore, as is in keeping with everything else this maladministration has done. Stonewall, stonewall, stonewall…

It’s time for Dems to quit pussyfooting around and start invoking inherent contempt and arresting these lawless bastards.

Would you rather have them arrested now, or closer to the election? Voters have such short memories.

Yep.

If DeJoy refuses the subpoena, he give the Democrats a potent electoral weapon against Trump.

DeJoy’s mere countenance is one of contempt.

If I or anyone in the USPS intentionally delayed mail the Postal Inspectors would come and take you away.
There is no reason DeJoy has not been removed.
No Oversight Committee needed.

Contemptuous bastard, ain’t he?

Those documents, produced by the US Postal Service, are public property and belong to the people and their elected representatives. And they should not be difficult to locate and submit.

While this is good, is it getting to the point of no-return to fix what’s been killed?

BTW, I was out for my daily walk yesterday (Sunday) and encountered a mail truck making a Sunday delivery. Wouldn’t this have qualified as overtime?

In his case, I think the sooner the better, before he can do even more damage to the USPS.

The USPS has a contract with Amazon for 7 days a week delivery.

I just thought it odd, as the driver appeared to be in casual clothes and not the normal blue shirt.

I’d like the Chair of the House Oversight Committee to announce her intention to waterboard the fuck out of No Joy.

Does that make me a bad person?

These folks not in uniform are more then likely RD subs (Rural Delivery) which is different from City Carriers.
I do not have the writing ability to explain but their hours can be twisted.

Maloney will do it.

Representative Carolyn B. Maloney, Democrat of New York and the chairwoman of the House Oversight Committee, said Monday that she would subpoena Louis DeJoy, the postmaster general, for documents she said he had withheld from Congress related to mail delays and communications with the Trump campaign.

Ms. Maloney sent a memorandum notifying members of the panel of her plan to issue the subpoena, meaning it will likely be delivered to Mr. DeJoy by Wednesday.

Over the last two months, many members of Congress have sought documents from Mr. DeJoy — a megadonor and Trump ally recently hired to run the Postal Service — concerning delays in election mail since he has taken the helm, the removal of postal service machinery and the process by which he was chosen to run the agency.

Amazon and how much it uses USPS is at the core of why trumPP and his minions are doing this. WaPo criticism and investigative reporting of trumPP, leading to all sorts of problems for trumPP and the three spawn, Bezos owns WaPo and Amazon, and this reeks of a personal vendetta.
