House Oversight Chair Calls It A ‘Mistake’ That US Didn’t Bomb Mexico During Trump Administration

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) said Tuesday morning that it was a “mistake” that the administration didn’t go through with bombing drug labs in Mexico after then-President Donald Trump suggested it in 2020.

I’m so glad Comer is doing his best to show how stupid and vile republicans are.

“Trump said that ‘we could just shoot some Patriot missiles and take out the labs, quietly,’ adding that ‘no one would know it was us’…Trump said he would just say that the United States had not conducted the strike…”

But she had emails!

And gave speeches to bankers!!

AND WORE PANTSUITS!!!

(Boy, we really dodged a bullet there.)

Perhaps because it would have been a breach of international law and considered an act of war?

… and for whatever reason the military didn’t do it,” he said on Fox News.

Just wow. This idiot will start praising Putin for “protecting Russia.” The mind, she boggles.

I’m told he’s one of the “moderate” ones. (Only a moderate fascist?)

Should the military have bombed the meth labs in the backwoods hollers of Kentucky? Someone ought to ask him this.

Me, too. I just wish it actually mattered to more voters.

Those 4 people went to Mexico to purchase medicine.

Why would they feel the need to do that, Mr. Republican?

Media: both sides yada yada this is fine.

Comer also said that “certainly we need to have a strong military presence on that southern border,” a seeming clarification of his position a couple months ago when he floated cutting off “all funding for everything” before deciding how best to secure the border.

He’s just not a serious person, yet he’s capable of doing (has already done?) serious damage to our relationship with Mexico. We get a lot of really great stuff from Mexico - autos, machinery and agricultural products, labor ( legal or otherwise, it’s a boon to our economy).

Mexico is our No. 1 trading partner in terms of trading value, followed by Canada and China. And this dipshit hockey puck of a dungmoose wants to fuck that up.

Media: Stop trying to gin up reasonable Republicans. They run the gamut from vile to execrable.

Yup. We could totally fire a weapons system that doesn’t target ground targets, and nobody would clue in to ‘hey, who fired those missiles from New Mexico? Was it North Korea?’

Jesus, people…

Does the chair of the House Government Oversight Committee, Rep. Comer realize that doing as he suggests would be an Act of War against our neighbor and ally, Mexico. How does someone this stupid get elected? He deserves absolutely no respect from the American people and should be summarily expelled from Congress.

They had travelled there for cosmetic surgery, relatives told US media.

You know, the most amazing part to me isn’t DT just blithely proposing something illegal (obviously par for the course). It’s that he genuinely seemed to believe that no one would ever figure out that it came from the US. I dunno, maybe he thinks all the satellites will just be off that day or that some privates could magic marker out identifying markings on the missiles.

He convinces a lot of stupid voters to vote for him? I’m just wildly speculating, here.
