Just in time for the House Qidiots to launch endless fishing trips against President Biden.

It would have been nice to give the Dem winners of this lawsuit some kind of reward.

More than a day and a corrupt lawless administration late … How in God’s name did this take so long? 4 years of stalling worked. This ruling while nice doesnt address the real issue - Drumpf’s lawlessness.

Justice delayed is justice denied.

Timing is everything…you may wager that Biden will be suitably hamstrung by endless superfluous demands for " stuff"

And I suppose he can litigate as well, why not?

Just 22 days before the inauguration. Vhat a coincidence!

Now try to wrap your heads around this: 2-1 opinion, the 2 are Obama and Clinton appointees. The dissenter is a reagan appointee.

Listen, this is a good decision for all time, but I’m not going to lie and say I’m not fucking pissed they waited until 3 weeks before Biden takes office when this lawsuit was filed 3.5 years ago.

They might as well set up an office in the Biden White House just for Jordan, Gaetz, et. al. to show up every day with their fishing poles and tackle boxes.

“The decision — issued by Judge Patricia Millett — goes to an arcane 1920s law which created the seven-member rule. That statute authorizes any seven members of the House Oversight Committee, regardless of party affiliation, to go to any part of the executive branch and demand records.”

I’m good with 13-member committees in the new House.

Seven Dems and six Republicans on each.

Works for me.

(Alternatively, Speaker Pelosi can just repeal the rule by majority vote.)

The Biden administration will spend the four years being continuously investigated by Q-anon lunatics with 24/7 TV coverage. Biden is fucked before he gets started. Meanwhile, the tRump crime family gets off scot free.

So much for elections having consequences.

Glass half-empty or
Glass half-full…

Suppose the ruling had occurred just after Nancy Impeached Trump?

@ralph_vonholst has observed, correctly, that the Right will never stop pushing and I suggest that we adopt the mentality of the Dutch and learn to Live With It:

“The _____________will never stop pushing against us”

Obama hasn’t forgiven Biden for the “articulate” comment in 2008, and Hillary of course wants her revenge for him doing what she couldn’t pull off and beat Trump.

Not sure how that would have hurt Democrats if that was your point.

This will be the new tool for Republicans to employ in their quest to make the country ungovernable.

I’m pretty sure the Biden admin knows how to hire an attorney that can say “Talk to the hand”. It’s not as if there isn’t some recent precedent, plus, competent attorneys will be falling over themselves to represent this white house.

Fortunately, the Trump administration also showed us how to deal with those: ignore them.

Who thinks the supreme court will rule on a 2021 House subpoena of the biden administration before they rule on the 2018 subpoenae of the morBotus administration?

Will this work for the senate too? Or is this restricted to the House?

Colorado officials on Tuesday reported the first known case in the United States of a person infected with the mutation-laden coronavirus variant that has been circulating rapidly across much of the United Kingdom and has led to a lockdown of much of southern England.

The case involves a male in his 20s who is currently in isolation in Elbert County and has no travel history, according to a tweet from the office of Gov. Jared Polis.

“The individual has no close contacts identified so far but public health officials are working to identify other potential cases and contacts through thorough contact tracing interviews,” the tweet said.

The UK has one of the most sophisticated, possibly the most sophisticated covid-19 genomic variant tracking systems in the world. It’s as likely that they simply found it first as that it originated in the UK.
