Yes, let’s give these hick legislators their own private police force!

Wait a minute!

But I thought the Republicans wanted to just move on? Oh — they want everyone else to move on. Got it.

Increased security is needed, particularly for D-Senators. All it takes is one determined Trumper in a state with a R-Governor, but D-Senator, to flip the Senate back to the GOP.

We haven’t heard much from pistol-packin’ loudmouth Lauren Boebert. Could it be that she’s worried about the investigation into pre-insurrection Capitol tours?

They should get extra security, but it should hinge on a few things:

  • They have to show documented threats
  • They have to publicly pledge to support removal of anyone that was involved in, supported, or encouraged the Jan 6th insurrection
  • They were not part of the group the voted against confirming the electors on Jan 6th.

Shout it from the roof tops!

That is the news I am waiting on.

Some Repubs are learning that they are not known by which party they belong to so they are part of the open season by Trumptards.

Quote of the day on TPM comes from Nicole Lafond on the Editors’ Blog treatment of this issue: Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has proven time and again that it’s futile to hang any hope on a flimsy spine.

I have been very interested in the story of death threats made against reps and senators from both parties, but especially Republicans. I think this story should be investigated thoroughly, to answer the questions:

How many reps have been receiving threats, and how does it compare historically? (I assume that death threats are par for the course for any congressperson, but has this number gone up since 2016?) Are Republicans receiving more than Democrats, or vice versa?

What is the specific nature of these threats? Are there more demanding loyalty to Trump than the opposite? (I can guess, but I want stats.) How violent and specific are the threats, vis-a-vis what do they threaten to do? Do they include personal knowledge of the targets life and activities? Family members?

How often do family members also get threats? Staff members?

How often are threats investigated? How often is an attempt made to carry them out? Have people been caught trying to carry them out? Has anyone been tracked down and questioned or arrested for threats alone (i.e. not trying to carry them out)?

Finally, a comparison of all congressperson’s statements and positions over time should be analyzed to determine if these threats are affecting policy and voting decisions. Will anyone admit to voting a certain way due to threats?

Are there six senators who refuse to vote to impeach Trump solely because of the constant barrage of death threats?

It’s not enough that we just assume that all of these things are happening. The whole country needs to know if a fascist death threat machine is secretly controlling the country. And we can’t rely on politicians to tell us about it honestly.

Me, I want to know who it was exchanging Facebook messages about where they moved the members of congress in the basement. Somebody’s going for a long ride for that one, and I want to know who…

He went there to kiss Trump’s ring or something else or to suck his schwanz. He offered to be Trump’s bitch. I got this from an insider.
