House Intel Committee Subpoenas Michael Cohen In Russia Probe

Clearly this is a person with nothing to hide. Drain the swamp, right? Unreal. And the hardcore supporters will agree with him, against their own interests and the nation’s security. Vomitous.

“Mr. Trump is more than just a boss to those of us who have been fortunate enough to be close to him, both professionally and personally. He’s more like a patriarch, a mentor. These qualities make him very endearing to me, which is why I am so fiercely loyal to him and committed to protecting him at all costs.”

-Michael Cohen

Would you go to jail for him, Michael? You might have to, if you keep this up…

Whatever. Go ahead and mouth off now, because when Special Counsel Muller comes calling…a little birdie tells me they’ll all be singing a different tune.

My patience is wearing thin, but I’ll wait, because I know the day of the perp walk is coming.

You don’t need a high falutin’ law degree to specialize in intimidation. Thuggery, thy name is Michael Cohen.

I’ll be astonished if we don’t eventually discover he’s strayed outside the gray areas and into the outright criminal.

Cohen might be one of the ones faced with a choice between Club Fed and a cup of tea from his friends.

Still good advice, considering his so-called credentials.

And now we get to see how many GOP Senators are willing to place the party over personal dignity… My guess is there are enough willing to cross the isle for no other reason than they are personally offended by the President and his people openly thumbing their nose at Congressional oversight to make this an issue for Trump.

I have a feeling that the American public is about to get a free lesson in what “Contempt of Congress” looks like, from a legal standpoint.

Does every Trump lawyer work at the law firm of Flywheel, Shyster, and Flywheel!?

Everyone in Trump’s inner circle and family is seemingly tainted by Russian Oligarch’s petro dollars, investors connected to Putin-controlled banks who own much of Trump’s and Kushner’s mortgages, and generally every brand of thuggy mafia-like money grubbing one can imagine! How did he EVER think running for office wouldn’t uncover ALL of this!?

I find it hysterically funny that Comrade Cockholster obviously intends on relying on the same legal tactics he’s used his whole life, namely intimidate his opponents with endless threats and deep pockets.

I suspect this gambit might not work with seasoned government prosecutors who not only specialize in these types of cases but also enjoy an unlimited budget.

I’d love to hear what Preet Bharara thinks about this strategy. If only we could get him to stop laughing long enough to tell us.

Cohen actually has a lawyerly point here, IMO – with the caveat that I’m not a lawyer, but I’ve been involved in regulatory challenges, which should be similar. He’s looking to narrow the focus of the request as much as possible by forcing Congress to enumerate in a very precise way what exactly must be submitted. That’s obviously to his benefit because it makes them guess what he might have, ask for that, then he can tell them oh no sorry, you guessed wrong. Guessing right with high specificity is difficult. But, as worded, he can legitimately say, How should I know what you consider pertinent? I’m pretty sure he’s within his rights here.

Would be interesting to find out who worded this Congressional request and if that person intentionally gave Cohen an out.

You can’t just leave it at that. Show and tell is in order.

“Turn states’ evidence,” also too.

It’s time for the “strongly worded letter” we talk about. To begin with it will say "You are ordered. . . "
