The House voted 230-198 on Thursday to hold Attorney General Bill Barr and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross in contempt for their failure to comply with subpoenas in lawmakers’ probe into the census citizenship question.

I realize that this will be the new excuse for being despicable as an administration, but I’m glad they did this. Otherwise, there is no reason for anyone to cooperate.

Republicans play extreme hardball politics but claim to be victims when others exert their constitutionally mandated authority. I call that deplorable and trying to have it both ways. Good move!
