The Capitol security operations must be a supreme clusterf++k behind the scenes, although it’s all out in the open now. How in the hell there aren’t people within the agencies specifically tasked with monitoring all the social media and dark web postings of a long list of known or suspected domestic terrorist organizations is appalling. On what effing planet is “We never saw it coming” a remotely goddamned acceptable explanation for Jan 6th? And why the hell is it testified to that intel was passed to people, but those people deny ever receiving it? Isn’t a system set up where receipt has to be acknowledged, and if that acknowledgement isn’t received it’s followed up on? “Did you get that goddamned warning? Yes or no? Oh, you didn’t, well here it is again. I expect an email acknowledging it. Read it. It’s serious. It’s your ass if you don’t act on it. Got that?”

WTF?

The House participants are talking to CongressCritters who are down with 500,000 COVID deaths (nearly all attributed to Donald Trump)…and want to give Trump the Election by force.

Why would they give a damn about Mental Health Impact of the Trump-Caused Capitol Insurrection?

GQP response? We don’t need no stinkin’ mental health!

I’ve never been a conspiracy guy, but I think at least part of the answer to your questions is that so many in white house, congress and police were complicit in it all.

…well, they show little evidence of having it…

Gen. Honore reached the same conclusion.
In that vein, I’d like to know what Moscow Mitch was up to during the time Pelosi was allegedly not authorizing a call for the National Guard. Projection is such the go to with these folks, it certainly seems worth looking into. (ed.)

House Hears Testimony On Mental Health Impact Of Capitol Insurrection On Staffers

I want to hear testimony on the mental health of the GOP members of Congress.

What was delicately omitted was the bodily waste these traitors left behind. Too bad they didn’t treat the capital as a crime scene, get DNA, and catch the perps with their :poop:.

Architect Says He Hasn’t Seen ‘Any Indication’ That Rioters Had Access To Capitol Floor Plans Prior To Attack

Sort of a worthless statement. Various Capitol security personnel testified they had seen no indication of trouble brewing on January 6th. These effing idiots would step off the curb having no idea a city bus was coming at them.

Whyever not is a question that should be asked of every witness.

Because no one in the GOP knows how to hand-draw or verbally describe floorplans? #GMAFB

Also worthless, imo, because the Architect appears to be using a very narrow definition. Sure, the actual blueprint-equivalents are limited to a very small group. But pretty much everyone who works there needs at least the basic outlines of the hallways, stairs, elevators, office numbers etc. Which is all you need to answer questions about how you get from A to B, or where you might find a particular legislator. Maybe some of the emergency paths are behind unmarked doors, but you need them to be generally known if they’re going to be useful.

Every Republican is now allowed to escape questioning by saying “I haven’t seen the report” or “I haven’t seen the video/interview/tape”

So, on the evening of Sept 11 2001, was it OK to brush off reporters with “I haven’t been following the news”?

Then getting escorted to a black SUV and whisked away.

No Sign Of Attempted Cyber Attack During Siege,

Good to hear however how many devices were stolen or possibly planted during the chaos that ensued. I’d find it incredibly surprising there weren’t foreign agents in and amongst that crowd. I assume most if not all offices were swept for security purposes afterwards though, lets hope.

If they’re smart, they will also interview custodial staff and other “essential employees” that the high and mighty tend to overlook. I’m willing to bet they’ve heard and seen some interesting things. Just give them whistleblower status.

Agree, and as I said before… “The Senate Chamber was breeched. The House side was not.”
