I say, have the FBI investigate all of them, and their staffs, for possible collusion. After all, nothing to hide, nothing to fear, right? The life of a servant of the people should be an open book.

I’d make it even easier: Unanimous passage of a Congressional resolution stating without qualification that 1) Joe Biden is the president of the United States and 2) Donald Fucking Trump is not. Bonus points if you throw in a full-throated renunciation of QAnon and associated militias, seditionists and white nationalists.

Gratuitous gaslighting from the R’s. The subtext is something that would sound familiar to a psychologist dealing with the abuser in a case of spousal abuse: Nothing really happened, we didn’t instigate anything, none of our supporters were involved, the Democrats are being vengeful and paranoid, those were good Americans expressing their opinions, etc.
This is all B.S. being poured out in public to paint the Democrats as the ones who have a problem. And, of course, their base will endorse every word. The term “feckless” comes quickly to mind.
