Might have to weigh Pompey’s answer against smeg’s, considering

Woodward has him on tape.

First: it’s petty and stupid to deny Schiff and Swalwell seats on the Intel committee as they have deep experience there already and they’re looking out for the country. But Kev sees politics as a personal blood sport to everyone’s detriment.

Second: Very glad to hear Abrams and Leopard tanks will be heading to Ukraine. These are offensive weapons and it tells me the US and NATO want Ukraine to take back its territory.

Third: Santos offers a master class for a new level of unconcealed corruption. He should be kicked out of the House.

Wondering, as I don’t have satellite (any more), did Directv give any reason for dropping them, or did the just do the Capitalist thing and just turn it off?

I thinnk that’s more Kev’s leash-holders.

This is Kev’s MO. But here’s the thing: kicking these two off the committee also loses the tribal knowledge, the things that one can only learn serving on the committee. These guys that were named will have to start all over without any of the history that’s already been learned but not been made public.

I guess this is where the accusation of ‘weaponization’ comes into play - why learn from history?

News stories said Newsmax wanted too much money.

So it’s not political - it’s economic.

Have to wonder how the screeching on the Right will position this.

Well how else would Newsmax be able to pay off that impending judgement when Smartmatic and Dominion win their cases?

Can the Senate form a Committee on the Weaponization of Ignorance and Stupidity?

Boris Manchin and Natasha Sinema stand in the way.

I’m not. Fauci is 82, finally retired after over 50 years of federal service.

He should be enjoying a well-deserved and long overdue break.

Not having drunk congressmen sitting up on the dias screaming at him.

The Intel committee is not a place for politics in my opinion. National defense in a perfect world would be without party considerations. But we have self serving idiots that have been elected who’s primary goal as always is reelection above all else. And so we get personal petty moves like denying spots on the committee to two people who are versed in the workings of the Intel committee. It would be a good thing to have intelligent people on the Intel committee.
