House GOP Fears Trump-Elon Breakup Might Get In ‘Big, Beautiful’ Bill’s Way

And apparently he’s both deleted that and the original Epstein post now. Someone’s getting to him.

Trump could set up a tree shredder on the South lawn. Announce a live TV event. Then proceed to feed a stream of bawling black and brown infants into it.

He wouldn’t be prosecuted for a crime. He wouldn’t be convicted in the Senate at an impeachment trial. The 25th amendment wouldn’t be successfully invoked. And his agree/disagree rating would improve 5%.

It’s amusing / sickening to hear Republicans refer to the need to pass the Felon’s Big Budget-Busting Bill as being “for the good of the country.” Yeah, that shite never grows old, does it? The rubes fall for it every time. Just remember, Farmer Bob, when your wife is having her miscarriage or you’ve fallen afoul of your farm equipment and are bleeding out, that it was “for the good of the country” that all the hospitals within 100 miles were closed by Elon and the Great Messiah Don.

An international neo-Nazi terrorist organization is boldly continuing to build in the US and planning a new paramilitary training event without fear of local authorities or the FBI, which once dismantled it in a nationwide effort.

The Base, founded in 2018 by a former Pentagon contractor living in Russia and now suspected of Kremlin-sponsored espionage, once boasted close to 50 stateside members before the bureau made more than a dozen arrests in a years-longcounter-terrorism operation.

But since the presidential election campaign last year and what many then believed to be a surefire victory for Donald Trump, the Base saw an opportunity in a potential administration uninterested in policing white supremacy and went about ramping up its ranks.

David Schoen, after having done the insider work to assure Billy-Bob Barr that there were no remaining “dead-man’s pedal” traps left out in the wild to trigger a release of tapes and pics if Epstein died, was rewarded by being made counsel for trump, representing him in the second impeachment trial.

It’s a safe bet Trump knew of all of Musk’s emotional problems, his drug use, his incompetence as to making budget and firing decisions at Fed agencies. And he knew the relationship was doomed to go down in flames. But Musk gave Trump and the GOP $277 million for the election campaign. Musk bought the ability to be an asshole and slag Trump and the GOP. And Trump and the GOP were OK with it, because 1/4 billion dollars is a shit ton of money. Musk could have told Trump back in October he was going to stab Stephen Miller and Melania, live on camera, before May expired. Trump wouldn’t have changed a thing about how the last year went down.

This was suspicious enough even before Elon got involved.

They have such contempt for their own constituents, assuming that they’re too ignorant/uninformed to know they’re urging the Senate. And they’re right.

In 1946 people like this said they knew damned well the Nazis were up to no good all along, and something should have been done about it.

AP is a non-profit that earns about $500-550 million per year, which I assume goes for operating costs and salaries of the 3300 employees. Twenty million would be quite a blow. Some nasty Trump judges allowed their continued exclusion from the WH press room, while the court battle continues. What I’m surprised by is the general indifference to AP’s plight by the legacy “access” press. Remember when Obama tried to oust Fox because it wasn’t a news organization (Fox itself claims it’s entertainment) and the rest of the DC Press Corps circled the wagons. It’s odd because AP is most assuredly a news organization, but then again, Obama was a Democratic president.

Like why a suicidal guy is building out his legal team while simultaneously planning to never make use of it to get him out?

The “coincidence” of Kraznov using the exact same phrase about Elon, “I wish him well”, as he did about Ghislaine (with only the gender substitution)?

You have to accept the reality that One Big Beautiful Bill will necessarily include some details that you find objectionable, but you can’t let perfect be the enemy of good. After you help pass the bill you then accept the alternate reality your constituents live in, assert your “true” beliefs, and ask somebody else to muck the stalls you befouled. Because at the end of the day, you are of a mind with the authoritarian leader of your party and dismiss the crisis you caused but simply saying “I don’t take responsibility at all.”

Exactly. And of all the ways to say he was Epstein’s chief lawyer, why is he himself pointing out it was 9 days before he died? Who is he trying to intimidate?
