Let’s start a list of excuses why no one will respond in a meaningful way:

  1. The Secret Service needs to stay silent on issues related to operational security.
  2. There was a “credible threat” associated with Pence staying in Dublin.
  3. Many of the records are inaccessible due to an antiquated provisioning system that should have been fixed by “Obama and the Dems”.
  4. It takes less time to fly coast to coast in Ireland than it does to drive across town, so we actually saved money.
  5. Fake News™.
