The GOP cannot be trusted. NONE of them. They will out this person in a heartbeat because nothing is off limits and yes, that includes threats and murder to protect their last ditch effort to avert their demographic existential crisis by subverting every single aspect of the gov’t and our elections processes. This isn’t just about the person’s identity winding up in a Faux News propaganda piece some morning, complete with his entire background and spin narratives about what a biased and untrustworthy person he or she is because of X, Y and Z that they dug up. It’s about this person winding up on every news network in the nation some morning after being fed through a woodchipper, the DNA in the smears left behind being the only means of identification.

Lindsay Graham stayed just yesterday he wants to publicly question the whistleblower. When the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee fails to understand and abide by whistleblower protections, Democrats are more than justified in taking every possible measure to protect these individuals, who are already at substantial risk.
This is an appalling state of affairs, foreshadowed by Cheney’s outing of a CIA agent for political reasons.

I’d like to see a statement, resolution or some official decree from the House that IF the whistleblower’s identity is made public, that anyone found to be responsible for leaking their identity will be immediately stripped of all power and committee positions and then criminally investigated by the next administration.

This is a good move by the Dems to freeze the GOP as when the identity does leak, the GOP will be blamed for it.
I have to believe Trump and Barr have narrowed down the list of possible folks who could be the WB and who leaked to him. But that very fear of Barr and Trump is causing more to come forward because Trump/Barr can’t plug all the holes in the dam.

We have Alexandria’s experience of death threats, exposed fully in the media, and the experiences of countless women, of young people bullied brutally in middle and high school and beyond, to the shooting of Gabby… enough evidence to convince everyone that what you describe is exactly what the Republicans are gunning for.

On my commute today, I heard Senator Johnson from WI declare he doesn’t trust the CIA or FBI. SMH. Does this mean we can commit crimes that fall under the FBI’s jurisdiction with impunity, then? They aren’t to be trusted, after all!
