Iâm not sure the networks are dying to do that. A lot of media networks are owned by rapaciously greedy right-wingers, who use their power over the media to shape public opinion to suit their own narrow interests, and who gleefully use every election as a chance to siphon wealth from the bottom 90% (which they then invest in right-wing causes that hurt the bottom 90%).
They do not want to see Trump removed. They want to see permanent rule by organized money. The GOP stands for permanent rule by organized rich whites. Itâs a match made on Wall Street.
If these media orgs kept that footage, itâs only because they want an insurance policy they can use to blackmail or shame current GOPers for disloyalty in the future.
