And, they persisted!

His texts seem to indicate he’s an honest broker and probably has nothing to hide. As such, I expect him to defy Pompeo also, and testify fully for Congress.

I expect what he knows and will probably say will drive Trump to tweet (his version of a stiff drink).

His texts looks like someone wearing a wire trying to get a criminal to state what they are doing in plain terms.

Anyone have any suspicions that he might decide later not to show up?

Any time some writes “as we discussed on the phone” they just want a written record to cover their ass. Smart.
Taylor should bring the goods to Congress.

One can only hope that he won’t be marginalized like Bolton!

Taylor’s testimony would add more nuance and corroborationwith Sondland’s potential testimony…if Sondland tells the truth and stay loyal to his wife and NOT to Trump!

Taylor probably has some fairly detailed notes of his phone conversations with Sondland and others, too.

I have a feeling Trump will have some not-too-kind words for and about Taylor both before and after he testifies.

But, of course, this was all Rudy’s idea.

So many bucks to pass, so little time.

When Trump tries to blame the whole stupid Ukraine gambit on Rudy, you know the boat has been “holed” and is taking on water by the gusher-fills. Rudy is just as nutty and maniacal as Trump. He will not go down like Gordon Liddy did for Nixon, but he will take Trump down with him.

It will take two big buckets of popcorn to watch these two jabroni’s circle the drain while pissing on each other !!

If he is “clean”, he will be a rarity in the Trump administration. Anyone who works for Trump and believes that they will never be expected to break the law hasn’t been paying attention or doesn’t care.

If Sondland testifies first, he has to consider what Taylor is going to say. If nothing else, Taylor’s testimony will help keep Sondland from lying.

He’s career State Dept, not part of the Trump administration.

OK, that explains it and it also explains why Trump’s Secretaries of State, starting with Erickson, have been cutting permanent staff.
