President Trump’s claim that surgeons abandoned their operating tables during the President’s visits to hospitals in the wake of two recent mass shootings is just not true, according to one of the hospitals.
So, so thirsty…

This should be obvious BS, why can’t we get the press to call him out on it immediately to his face? Just that, having him held accountable in real time for these kinds of statements, would make a huge difference in not allowing things like this to gain any traction (outside of his base which is pretty much going to believe anything at this point).
In this case, the press wasn’t allowed to view the truth. So it’s his word against the hospital’s.
The hospital is far more believable. No doctor is going to risk a malpractice lawsuit for abandoning a patient during an operation.
The President boasted on Wednesday that the people he visited in the hospital “love their President,” adding that “doctors were coming out of the operating rooms.”
What kind of human would be proud of that? Disgusting.

The access the press gets nowadays is limited to quickies on the driveway with sound of a helicopter prop going, loud, chaotic, and ideal for someone who has nothing sane to say and only blames reporters for questioning his statements.

The only part of the hospital where the employees would welcome him with open arms should be the morgue.
He said this at one of his ‘chopper’ talks so there is very little chance to ask follow up questions since he is just yelling his response and only calling on people he wants to. Someone was trying to follow up on a question and he just attacked the person.
He can be counted on to lie. About anything and everything from the trivial to the critical. Why would anyone listen to anything he says? Ever?
Of course, one of the patients who had been discharged and returned was an infant, and had no choice in the matter.
Those Doctors needn’t worry. No sane person believed they did.
