I can’t wait to see the Committee’s report. Hopefully to be followed by indictment of a certain former President.

I want more episodes before the series finale!

I hope Hicks leaves no hope for Trump.

So Hope joins a group tethered to reality? At some point, everyone even tangentially associated with the Walking Train Wreck That Is Donald Trump will pen some sort of Tell-All.

In the meantime, real people, real relationships, real social institutions, real political processes (which have brought this Republic to developed nationhood status) remain severely and adversely affected by a perpetual toddler.

50/50 whether the indictment for the purloined docs comes before or after the J6 committee report. I would put my money on “before.”

4 hours seems like an awful long time to just keep saying “Fifth… Fifth… Fifth…” etc.

I think Hopey flipped.

4 hours actually isn’t that long for a deposition/interview of somebody so close to El Jefe. And nothing I have seen indicates Hicks would be in criminal peril. So if she just testified truthfully, that would be fine.

I wonder if she told any “white lies” this time ( In case anyone was under the impression that a fine pair of eyebrows must belong to a pure soul )

Ms Hicks left and later came back. Perhaps we will learn what’s up with that. I mean, why would anybody who worked under the former guy (the LOSER!) ever want to return? Everyone has confirmed that to know him is to hate him.

Hope-fully this perception will start to show itself in the actions of all the other Hicks of the DFG’s base. (And no, I don’t think that highly of my lung capacity.)

My impression of her previous congressional testimony was that she testified truthfully, but narrowly.

All accounts are that she was burned out when she initially left, and she was brought back in around the start of covid because she was an effective “Trump-whisperer” who sometimes had the ability to break through his wall of delusional bullshit.

That’s not to suggest that the woman is anything other than delusional herself. After all, she did fuck Corey Lewandowski.

According to Paul Ryan, anybody not named Trump has the best chance of winning the White House in 2024…

He has been quiet, relatively speaking…

I don’t believe any of her testimony has been shown to be false, which is a bit different than “truthfully”. The Jan 6 committee has had much broader participation by members of the former administration than previous investigations. I wonder if she will thread the needle successfully this time.

Let’s consider the possibility that she returned to the administration because she approved of its actions. I think she’s more Ollie North than Fawn Hall.
