I’m as progressive as they come and I will not hold my nose. Biden is a good candidate. All of the final four were good candidates. Democrats have a hugely deep bench.

Also planning to vote for Biden (according to the article) are Jack Wilsbach, 21; and Jorge Trejo-Ibarra, 18. They may well be “brats," or at least brat-adjacent, and they may also be “privileged," but to me they aren’t the ones who sound “whiny.”

To the extent that Biden has weaknesses as a candidate, what I’d like to know is which weaknesses might be overcome by which choice of running-mate.
And to Biden’s credit, I don’t think he’s so insecure that he wouldn’t pick a “star” running-mate for fear of being over-looked.
Main question here is whether the Senate can be flipped in November, and I’m not sure Biden has the time to deal with this.
I would like to see Warren take the Ted Kennedy “lioness of the left” role in the Senate – and if we get the majority, keep Schumer from going all soft in the name of “comity”.
Kamala Harris has all the right progressive bona fides for me – and she scares Bill Barr. Republicans might actually prefer her in the VP spot than as AG… plus, she won’t be replaced by a Republican – not in California.
