Agreed…in fact that’s part of why it took so long. You put the federal government “on the hook” for supporting testing in Texas, it’ll be a lot tougher to explain why dying Arizonans and Floridians don’t get the same help. Why, it could even give people “ideas” that the feds have some “responsibility” for the “common welfare of the country” or something…

This was done for one reason and one reason only: “Polling shows President Cartman trailing in Texas.”
Therefore he retreats from pulling support in Texas (for two weeks until the MSM is on to the next “shiny object”, then they will quietly pull the support anyway.)
They are STILL pulling support for testing from the other states.
