Herschel Walker’s Team Bet That Paid Abortion Story Wouldn’t Come Out. Oops.

It’s God’s job to forgive. If we stop sinning he’s out of a job.

Herschel Walker’s abortion scandal won’t alienate Christian right voters — here’s why

Trump showed Republican voters are fine with sexual freedom — for straight conservative men

Hypocrisy is banal. It’s so old Jesus Himself was against it.

ALL of the football player’s ideas are just as wrong when Liz Cheney and Mike Pence articulate them.

Walker denies the story
But
The lady has the receipts from the abortion procedure, the bank statement (check image) where she deposited the $700 check from Herschel and she has a sort of “get well card” that the check came to her in complete with a note from Herschel and bearing his signature.
Herschel can go ahead and lie with impunity due to freedom of speech but the lady has physical proof that cannot be spun…

And, intrepid journalist, Brian Kilmeade followed up with, “So, you admit to the accusations?”

I’ll show myself out

It’s fine, it falls within the agreed upon exceptions: No abortions except for incest, rape, or republican candidates and officeholders.

“…spreading his seed?” This strikes me as an odd choice of anachronism: somehow, I can’t figure out how an abortion produces even one ‘begat,’ let alone a string of them.

It takes light moving at 186,000 miles a second a full seven minutes to get to earth from the Sun. The nearest star to us is a long way away. A full 4 light years to Proxima Centari.
Our galaxy is huge. It would take light 200,000 years to go edge to edge. The universe contains billions of galaxies. Yep, I said billions.
The universe is unimaginably huge. And still expanding.

Now, why would a Supreme Being who is minding a truly enormous Universe care about the happenings on the earth which amounts to less than a dust mote in the Grand Scheme of Things?

I agree he probably won’t lose any votes for it, but it’s not a redemption story as long as he’s still denying it.

I think he missed a trick there. All he had to do was fess up and say it was a mistake. Christians get an endless number of get out of sin free cards.

… hoping Walker would reach the finish line in November without stepping on that particular landmine.

Considering the number of landmines Walker has already stepped on, in any normal political party he would’ve been blown to bits a long time ago. But the Guardians Of Plutocrats is not a normal political party. And so, like Monty Python’s Black Knight , “'tis but a scratch, only a flesh wound.”

There is no bottom, no end to their cynicism.

“Grand Scheme of Things”
Suggests a schemer.

Totally agree. I was surprised to see him denying it, plenty of room there to argue how he’s changed his views even because of it.

Herschel Walker is not a particularly talented politician.

He doesn’t have to be. All he will be is another rubber stamp for Moscow Mitch.

My thinking isn’t that God judges us… not at all.
God just makes us judge ourselves and for many that can be hell.

Who among us men hasn’t knocked up an old girlfriend, paid for her abortion and sent her a get well card which she kept, only to decide to run for Senator from Georgia 15 years later and then deny everything?
