Walker’s campaign is in trouble. He is down 10 in the latest poll and without the trust of his campaign staff I don’t see how he recovers. Now if we can just move Abram ahead of Kemp.

Why do you still work for the campaign then? Is there a single principle in this world you do believe in other than ‘get money’? Because stabbing him in the back while still taking his money and potentially foisting him onto the US government ain’t it.
Also seeing the tiny money amounts that actually get prosecuted in the UK for MPs makes me sad for our ridiculous legalized bribery system. It was an enormous scandal that Boris got $280,000 in a personal loan from a donor to redecorate his house. Sheldon Adelson has his own primary season, covered by the media as such.

Obama and his team were very good at that. But again, it’s my perception that the thing we here think is essential—to show people that Republicans have become complete monsters—is not a winning electoral formula because people who don’t think about it much do think politicians are too partisan. If you go around talking about what monsters they are collectively you sound partisan. I’m agnostic about which is better. But I would understand the reasoning. Elizabeth Warren can rail against them and that’s fine in Massachusetts. Is it just as fine in, say, Maryland?

Yep, I’ve been saying some version of this for a while now. They don’t give a damn about any particular policy fiscal or social beyond owning the libs AKA hurting anyone they view as an other. People keep searching for all of these alternative explanations that spare them from having to call these people what they are, racists who will do anything to preserve the white patriarchal power structure, despite the fact that they keep showing us over and over again exactly who they are. It’s time we start believing them.
