Over here you can get giant square bales that weigh half a ton. Maybe it’s used for those.
I buy cable ties in assorted colors and lengths. Just to have them. They look good on a shelf in the garage.

Not sure it’s available as most people who cut hay use plastic wire now. I got my baling wire from a gully in a farmers pasture many years ago when I was fishing. It’s been very useful numerous times, even more so than the deer skull I brought home that day.

I don’t think Walker is a liar in the same way Drumpf is a liar. Walker is obviously a stupid and heavily damaged individual. Maybe it’s repeated traumatic brain injury. You have to suspect it’s what Lyndon Johnson said about Gerald Ford: too much football without a helmet.

I don’t know, but that kind of perception can be hard to communicate effectively to people who’ve never thought about it much. And if they don’t think about it, they won’t tell you in focus groups that it’s a thing they care about, so you don’t put it on the list of things to make ads about.

I swear I could build a house with cable ties.
I had to mount a security camera on a mast on the top of a flat roof manufacturing building. Subject to Texas heat and sun. As well as extreme weather. My only option at the time to get the job done quickly as the building folks were being pissy that year was a wood block secured by cable ties. That was 15 years back. I drive by and can see the mount point going by and that block is still in place. The company is gone, the cable ties outlasted them.
