Iām sure this will be obvious to say, but there is really no difference in the way the right uses black celebrities or supporters today and the way plantation owners forced their slaves to insist they were well treated and had plenty to eat. The evil of slavery never really went away, it simply retreated to a safe place to regroup and find a more palatable way for white supremacists to get what they wanted - so they created the worldās biggest prison system and gave themselves a twofer - nearly free slave labor while simultaneously laying claim to ālaw and orderā by locking up āthose people.ā Then they get to trot out a black celebrity or two, the way they promoted one slave to overseer, and they get to say, āSee weāre not racist. Liberals are racist because they want to keep these people dependent on the government.ā Itās pure insidious evil.

I wrote elsewhere - this will become a self-fulfilling prophecy. The GQP will lose the election for lack of participation, but it wonāt stop them from screaming the elections (in 22 and 24) were stolen.
The logic of how something can be stolen when nobody showed up will be lost on the media and most Americans.
