Not furry…
Asked about the “dictator” charge on Wednesday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre replied, “There are probably about 787 million things that I can say about this. That was wrong what we saw last night, but I don’t think I’m going to get into it.”
Meanwhile, White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates went nuclear on the outlet for its story about the pride flag. In a Twitter thread, Bates said that Fox was “characteristically lying through their teeth,” and posted a copy of the request for comment from a Fox News reporter that had been sent to the White House. The email made no mention of grooming or pedophilia, and Bates added, “Fox never even communicated the malicious and discredited foundation of this article to the White House.”
It’s unbelievably low-rent. Bernie and Rudy apparently think Candace Owens is gonna persuade America to make Trump preznit again.
At least half of his flock have to be thinking “This guy’s a loon.”
Whoa! Is that a robotic skeeter??
Looks like a tussock moth caterpillar. Don’t touch it.
Assuming Tom Fitton is a lawyer, does he know that eventhough he hasn’t been hired by Trump giving such advice is an act of malpractice. There is probably a reason Fitton couldn’t get a job as a lawyer in the Conservative world. He doesn’t know how to read.
I feel sheepish that I missed it.
Yeah, but catfish is really good.
The magistrate judge was displeased with that much leniency and imposed the condition that Trump could interact with witnesses but not talk to to them about the case.
Now, if you know Trump or anyone like him, setting a boundary of any kind is the equivalent of an invitation for them to cross that boundary. It’s like waving a red cape in front of a bull. The existence of the boundary is itself an irresistible attraction.
Add to that the extraordinary number of witnesses who are Trump lawyers, former lawyers, employees, former employees, aides, former aides, and assorted hangers-on, and you have a recipe for witness-tampering disaster.
Ok, but witness tampering is witness tampering regardless of any pre-trial release conditions. One could say the magistrate was trying to help him out by ordering “don’t go there”.
Yep. It’s an itty bitty drone. Remember to check out what ya swat this summer.
I have zero love for skeeters. One gave me malaria in 1992. Not fun.
Unlike Fitton, Eastman is (for a while) a lawyer. And it looks very likely that he will lose his license.
A lot of the Enron defendants tried the relying on advice of counsel and accountants defense. Last I checked, Jeff Skilling is still in jail, not sure about Arthur Andersen
agreed. I’m glad that clip was posted, I quite enjoyed what he had to say.
You could RTFA and learn he is not a lawyer. It’s only the second sentence.
Trying to pull the wool over our eyes?
Absolutely LOVE Pritzker’s speech. And at my alma mater! When I graduated back in 1987, we didn’t have anybody so cool–the university pres gave the address.
He’s not a lawyer
He is so far right as to be barely human

No, remember I’m in Fla. I swat first then ask questions.
