I’m very saddened to learn of the passing of my former boss, Herman Cain. I’m bracing for the cruelty online about how he deserved to get COVID and die because of his politics. We’re living in a dark time. But, they didn’t know him. I did.

No Ellen. He did not deserve to die, but he also did nothing to protect himself from dying of COVID.

Instead, he actively thumbed his nose at COVID.

Preshitident Skanky Turdface and First Lady Iwanker Turdface gave the Trump virus to Hermain Cain 666 at the Tulsa Juneteenth Rally as a gesture of goodwill from the Family and Organization. My blessings, thoughts and prayers, RIP, soul rest in peace and everything else. Herman Cain betrayed conservative principles and the great ideas from the Republican Death Panel. If only he had taken more hydroxychloroquine, used more light, heat and disinfectant at the rally…

Herman Cain's last public appearance was appearing at Trump's Tulsa rally without a mask. He posted an anti-mask tweet the day before that has since been deleted. https://t.co/8Z6MisLzAs

Back in the 80’s my sister would get the trade magazine Restaurant News. Cain was the president of the National Restaurant association and would opine in a column about issues of the day. Every month he would inveigh against the minimum wage, health and safety laws (cut your finger on a defective slicer, tough it out).(Undocumented, yeah whatever). We all know he must have griped about the wash hands sign and wearing a mask as being government overreach. Maybe the Coronavirus is a just, pardon the pun desserts.

It’s like someone running in the middle of the freeway who is then surprised and angry when s/he gets hit by a car.

I’ve not been keeping up. What’s the contact trace statistic now on Tulsa?

And whether @ellencarmichael wants to accept it or not it was his politics that said, follow COVIDIOT and don’t wear a mask…

Some people are unwilling to look the truth in the eye. Ms Carmichael appears to be one of those.

Damn, beat me to it. Though I was going to make the set up: “what did Trump say?”

He certainly wasn’t at the top of my list of wishes. But definitely on the list of 63 million or so that I couldn’t give a shit about if they did kick the bucket.
