I can’t say how much I hate the New York Times. David Leonhardt’s piece this morning claims that Harris is more likely to win the popular vote but lose the election than Biden. Says she will be weak with swing state whites and is weaker than she looks on paper. WTF? Times, including Leonhardt, were pushing for Biden to drop out in favor of Harris. Now this concern trolling shitstorm again? I canceled but my wife subscribes to it through our local library, so I see the articles in our joint inbox. Sigh.

I’m liking the pick for Minyon Moore as the Democratic National Convention Chair. She’s not going to let this convention get out of step or control, especially with the late-in-the-game change in candidate.
I believe that she played a big role in helping get Vice President Kamala Harris on Biden’s 2020 presidential ticket, and also advised Biden during his nomination of the first Black woman to the Supreme Court – Ketanji Brown Jackson. A great choice, IMO.

I read David Brooks column this morning on the train. He said that since her parents were an economics professor and a cancer researcher that lessens her appeal in the swing states among working class Whites. Because, “elitism!” As if those are less honorable positions than say a farmer or rancher or entrepreneur.
Gee what were they supposed to be? NASCAR driver? WWE star? A rapacious real estate con artist?

I remember Caitlyn Jenner had jaw surgery to make her jaw less prominent as part of her transition. I am glad also she appears to have transitioned successfully (ie Vivian would be seen by anybody as a cute girl, I love her hair).

How would anyone know? Other than he stopped saying stupid things.
Elon needs to seek help - but first he has to have a desire to be a compassionate empathetic human being … and there is serious doubt that this is realistically possible.
