I think their ‘plan’ was to just seize the machines, make up whatever vote totals they needed for a win, and report the results. What happens after that? I don’t think they planned that far ahead. We are talking about a bunch of morons.

Yeah but what is meant by “seize the machine”? That’s really my question. If they were going to seize all of those evoting machines, where were they going to put them? Sorry I guess I’m just in a practical frame of mind right now - logistics for this ridiculous plan seem to be another thing they failed to consider.

I’m with Clutch Cargo, but I’d go a bit further. The plan probably was to seize enough voting machines from the “right” states to make up enough votes to show that Trump “won” those states, and then get the Republican legislatures and/or governors/secretaries of state of those states to reject whatever official vote-counts had been reported and send in “corrected” slates of GOP electors. Pence would then have gaveled that Trump-Pence won the Electoral College.

So let’s get this straight: Today he’s saying it’s bad that the rioters broke into the Capitol because there should have been more cops, and that’s Pelosi’s fault. But over the weekend at the Texas rally, he says they deserve pardons and will get one if he’s reelected…
One story for the mainstream media, another story for the rubes at the rally. He’s still trying to figure out how to tap dance around the insurrection.

In the NY Times article, they report that Barr refused Trump’s request “six weeks after the election,” which would put it in mid-December. Trump and Barr met at the White House late on the night of December 14. Immediately after that meeting, Trump tweeted:
