The day that Trump made it look as if he was getting rid of Bannon, I said he was doing no such thing. Bannon will continue to play a pivotal role within Trumps’ inner circle.
The difference is that Bannon is now free to do stuff that he couldn’t as part of Trump’s administration or inner circle. Now, they can just claim he’s going rogue.

Free speech and all that, of course.

But issuing a call for insurrection should surely be FCC license revoking, I would think.

Republicans don’t want to reshape elections, they plan to win elections by any means and chicanery possible.

Their final objective is reaching a point where registration/voting is so difficult, ballot boxes so rare, elections are such a sham, that fewer and fewer bother to vote… in a nation with low participation to begin with.

I don’t know. I think there’s a good chance they will find that being lowest-rung party functionaries is too much work, and much too boring. Not enough shouting or tactical gear.

I don’t think going rightward deeper into the craycray is a growth strategy. What works for Bannon’s personal fundraising isn’t necessarily good for the party.

I’m okay with anything that’s not good for the GQP

The only thing the elected goobers are after is power. Actual governing for the good of the people is for democrats.Goobers will do anything inside or outside the law to get elected. And part of that is convincing people to vote the way we want you to vote. Meaning only GOP votes count. As Bannon indicated… from the bottom up…
Couple this thinking and strategy with the current anti abortion law in Texas I can foresee someone suing a neighbor because they didn’t vote “appropriately”.

These seem to me like desperation moves by people that realize they can’t win elections anymore.

As the Republican Party becomes ever more defined by its craziest elements, I foresee a simple narrative for mobilizing opposition to it: Poison.

A series of thirty second spots featuring a host of nut jobs saying stupid and scary stuff with the simple message help us stop them before they destroy our country.

Hell, I thought that the election deniers/truth deniers/ MAGATs already seized control of the GOP. I see no evidence of any sanity at all in that bunch of crazies.

All of this, including the Texas anti-abortion “bill” and DeSantis’ war against sanity looks to me like the final desperate whine of some inadequate men who see their absolute power over women and POCs waning. At least I hope this is their last gasp, and may they go down in flames.

There is no FCC license involved in having a podcast.

HAHAHAHAHAHAhAhAA!!! Look at AAAAAAAALL the violence that’s coming!!!

I’m actually quite glad to hear this. This will be an outbreak of civil war within the republican party. Remember 1865? There will be winners and losers, both of which will be labeled “republican” or this minority party will be split into two, and hell, maybe three smaller parties. And the burning resentments will be aimed at each other for a long time. They have always resented and hated our side, so there isn’t much to lose for us. They will sabotage each other and resent the loss that results. SO WHAT!

They may burn down our house while they’re flaming each other’s. (redistricting, local school boards, local govt., all of these things that they’re mucking up have a negative effect on all of us.)

And before St. Louis County got new voting machines which allows voters to vote in any precinct in the County they couldn’t get Republican poll workers to work in the “black” parts of the county.

So having not read through the whole article who else thinks these new recruits won’t show up for training? Or if they do won’t follow the training on election day?

I’m tire of waiting for convictions, I’m seriously considering tar and feathering. I know that’s not the liberal way, but enough is enough.
