Iâd agree with you and others, but hereâs a problem: unless heâs again getting back on Marine One (and heading back to Walter Reed) or the âmeat wagonâ is coming to â1600â, there are a lot of Republicans who are determined to make âorange Bolsonaroâ into a supposedly great thing.

My friend who lost a brother to COVID in July was near tears this weekend over the fact that the virus was a hoax until it happened to 45 and that he now gets the best treatment in the world after mocking and downplaying the virus since the beginning. She cried a lot yesterday after 45 told the world they didnât need to worry about COVID, itâs not that big a deal, because, as she said, âhe called my brother a loser for dying.â I had no idea what to say, I didnât have many words of comfortâŚ

Sailors of Dutch origin frequented Yokohama prior to Commodore Perry. This may account for âhunkyâ a Dutch term meaning âhomeâ. Dutch trading ships had multinational crews that often included Americans.
Perryâs ships were the first official Naval contact but Americans were in Yokohama prior to this.

We all recognize that we need to defend ourselves against someone who means to do us harm through depraved indifference. Taken to the extreme, there is only one logical conclusion to be reached. I hope it does not come to that.

Iâm not an expert, not by a long shotâŚbut Iâm starting to think that the best thing that Trump could personally do to help Americans fight COVID is to die from it.
It might be the only way to show his followers how dangerous it is and how wrong he was, and he wouldnât be able to infect anyone else with his reckless personal behavior.
