America’s largest firearms and ammunition company, Freedom Group, has been up for sale since shortly after the Sandy Hook massacre. On Wednesday, Bloomberg Businessweek reported that a $1 billion offer had been made. Unless, that is, the whole thing is a publicity stunt.
