Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) on Sunday expressed that both she and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden are not taking the possibility of Russian interference in the November election lightly.
The good news is that, at least no one is denying Russian interference or its significance this time around. Does anyone remember this headline from the NYT on November 1, 2016:
It was our denial of the Russian interference four years ago that allowed it to be so effective (IMO).
Ahhh ! A VP who can actually articulate their own thoughts and provide information without continual messages of loyalty and subservience to their lord and master. Looking forward to her term !
It’s so refreshing, so adult, you might say, to hear someone acknowledge she faces a potential problem. I’m so truly sick of this macho posturing where you’ll crush your enemies’ skulls like grapes etc. etc. This is a truly strong person saying she doesn’t control everything, and things could go wrong. I never imagined how much I could appreciate hearing that.
Criminals are like cockroaches, they do their best work in the dark.
Just as Trump’s impeachment has largely inoculated Biden from Trump’s fraudulent charges of corruption, talking about and exposing Russia’s interference in our elections will help raise public awareness and help thwart Trump if/when he tries to steal the election. Hopefully, it raises a red flag for people when they read something that seems dubious on social media. Not referring to Trump’s base, of course.
“I will take my Khalasar west to where the world ends and ride wooden horses across the black salt water as no Khal has done before! I will kill the men in iron suits and tear down their stone houses! I will rape their women, take their children as slaves and bring their broken gods back to Vaes Dothrak! This, I vow, I, Drogo, son of Bharbo. I swear before the Mother of Mountains as the stars look down in witness! As the stars look down in witness!“
He’s busy this morning going after Laurene Powell Jobs for her contribution to Dems. His attack implied Steve would not approve of how she is spending his money. Sexist much?
I wasn’t triggered as much as nonplussed. How on earth could this bizarre and ignorant person even be the Governor of Alaska, much less the vice presidential candidate?
Mostly, he’s pissed that her Emerson Project bought a controlling interest in The Atlantic-–in 2017.
He’s spouting off as though she were the editor, and the ever-infantile Charlie Kirk is echoing Donnie’s outrage, and looking just as foolish as always.
I just listened to the embedded video. She is indeed strong and impressive. All I can say is if Ron Johnson and Barr/Dunham want to lay down some Intelligence bullshit in October, they better have accounted for Senator Harris. She’s made Barr look like an absolute fool once, and she’ll do it again quite easily.
Since his RNC speech nine days ago decrying leftist "cancel culture, speech codes, and crushing conformity," Trump has called for the firings of Fox's Jennifer Griffin, MSNBC's Joy Reid, and CNN's Chris Cuomo, and urged his supporters to harass the owner of The Atlantic.
Harris on Trump & the economy: “His perspective cannot be our perspective, because his perspective for too long is to talk about how well the economy is doing based on how rich people are doing. We need to talk about how the economy is doing based on how working people are doing”
A contrast of two pool reports: Biden pool report: “He’s attending church services at St. Joseph on the Brandywine. The pool glimpsed Biden walking toward the church door at 10:35 a.m.” Trump pool report: “The caravan pulled into Trump National in Sterling, Virginia at 9:55.”
