Fox News host Sean Hannity is back to casting doubt on the efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccine after boosting it last month.
If all he’s doing is sowing discord and distrust to do Putin’s bidding, he doesn’t have to decide. He’s on the teevee, so his minions believe him. It’s like TFG pressuring Georgia officials to interfere with the 2020 presidential election - just create room for doubt and the big guy will do the rest. Just get people to distrust governance and science. Vlad will do the rest.
Sean Hannity knows the COVID vaccine works. That’s why he got it. What he’s uncertain of is how to lie about it to keep up ratings.
Hannity always reminds me of Moe from The Three Stooges. And I think it’s an accurate description, in more ways than one.
Would you give a liver to a raging alcoholic? Insurance companies need to not cover these treatments for people that choose not to get vaccinated when they qualify and don’t have a legitimate medical reason not to. Prioritize resources to those that are doing what they can to prevent the disease.
What the vaccine apparently does not do well is protect those who have not gotten it.
The concept of “herd immunity” may not exist for this virus, if we define herd immunity as enough immune people around to stop the spread to those who are not immune. It’s as if the virus has evolved to specifically target anti-vaxxers.
Depends what you mean by “works” doesn’t it? If you mean 100% avoidance of infection and no transmission, then it’s a failure. But if you mean keeps you from getting serious disease and prevents a trip to the hospital w/ oxygen and intubation, then it works just fine.
But even if you think it’s useless or a bioweapon, you should still wear a mask for the kids.
And fuck Death Sentence and his remedy noone without 3 commas can afford, this segment on Hannity was a bad ad spot.
Hieroglyphs now?
I take it that Hannity is vaccinated since it’s mandated at Fox unless he cried about it hurting making a boo boo or wanted a religious exemption.
His face always gives me a Bea Arthur vibe.
Why not: they’re a warm and welcoming home.
If these are regeneron doses the State of Florida purchased, then the insurance companies aren’t involved.
Hannity is a feckless dick.
" It’s as if the virus has evolved to specifically target anti-vaxxers."
The danger to people who are not really dumb, those of us who got the vaccine, will be the virus evolving to target vaxxers. It is to stop the virus from evolving that anti-vaxxers need to get vaxxed.
Every single Fox News staff member—yes, that includes you, Tucker—has been ordered to tell their bosses whether or not they’ve been vaccinated against the coronavirus. In an internal memo obtained by CNN, Fox News Media Chief Executive Suzanne Scott told her colleagues that the company has “asked all employees—whether on site as part of our essential workforce or working remotely—to upload their vaccination status” into a company database. Scott also told staff that Fox News is “requiring employees to wear a mask in small, confined spaces with limited opportunities for social distancing and where there are multiple employees, including control rooms.” The move is likely to upset some of the network’s top on-screen talent—Tucker Carlson has repeatedly been prickly about revealing his vaccine status. In May, when a reporter asked him if he’d been vaccinated, he texted back: “When was the last time you had sex with your wife and in what position? We can trade intimate details.”
I guess this answers if Hannity saw the importance of vaccination when he was promoting it.
Nah, just the same ol same ol, whatever is politically convenient for the day.
Fewer vaccinations = more Regeneron sales = bigger donations to DeSantis.
Pretty simple, when you think of it…
He also shaves his armpits and chews his toenails.
I was speaking to a friend of mine, who is a physician, about Gov. Abbots getting the Regeneron treatment. He told me the treatment average $11,000 to 12,000. I am sure this much more expensive the vaccine. So much for fiscally conservative.
