Isn’t Halperin® a sexual enhancement drug?
He should take it to the infomercials, and start a clinical practice with Dr. Sebastian Gorka.
I’ll take Steve over Hayes. I used to get up early to watch Chris on the weekends, but his weekly show tries my last nerve even though I like the subjects he covers, most of the guests he has own.
It maybe that when Chris and Steve had their own weekend show they had more time, they weren’t trying to cram so much in their hour.
Still #1 Hack after all these years
No contrition at all. No sense of “Gee, I was an asshole, and hurt people.” No remorse, no nothing. From the second he got kicked to the curb, his entire being was focused on getting his smug face back on TV. That’s it. These people are scum, and they run our discourse.
What an entitled prick.
Halperin’s entire career was (past tense) being Gossip Girl D.C., ingratiating himself with everyone in the District so he can spew their anonymous punditry back to the public with precisely zero value added by his own vacuous self. He seems to think that personal business model still has value to others in the wake of his decidedly gross (at best) behavior being revealed, so presumably he’s threatening to cut off the most valuable thing in his world: Access to people who still like Mark Halperin.
The TV comes with an off switch. (except the ones in airports, you have to cut the cord on those)
Blames everyone else - ever think it might have been your own actions Halperin?
Halperin is discovering that friends come and go, and enemies accumulate.
Considering how bad he was at being a “TV pundit” I would say that MSNBC has got this one right. Not only do I not miss him, I forgot he even existed up until this story.
The bad part being that a major news outlet gives out that kind of exposure to, disgusting creeps like halperin.
He is not needed for our news feeds. He has no value or use, nothing to offer, no value added tax, zip, nada, zilch, just a tax on our souls.
Eff em.
Chris Hayes is much better with the group in-depth discussion format. When he moved to prime time, he just plugged into the same boring type of show that everybody else is doing.
Figures Mika and Joe were assisting in his comeback attempt.
Steve and Hayes also are on my last nerve. And especially now that Hayes is trying to become something else on his Friday night show - ugh!
You need to tell that to the millions of people who watch it, not me.
I just avoid both. I don’t see either journal as anything more than political versions of the Enquirer or TMZ.
Yes, fuck him. He’s a totally unsympathetic character. We’ve all known someone fired who did not deserve it. He’s not one of them. You or I would be crucified for rubbing our dick against women in the office.
I have tried to like him, but he gets on my last nerve. If he sticks with the Big Board he is OK but there is something about him that is off putting. At least I still prefer him to Chris Matthews…barely.
Why not? Bedbug was on MSNBC Sunday morning without showing a psych evaluation.
Apparently, he has to have that ridiculous crutch every time he hits the air. Last week, I told my wife that we were watching “Hardball With The Big Board.”
ABC was the first network to be bought up in the ‘shareholder value’ era and it promptly and famously cut it’s perennially number 3 news side down past the bone. Of course the Helprin’s and Ross’s of the world, patsies for Republican Daddies, found a home there.
