When the egomaniac “look at me! LOOK AT ME DAMN IT!” prancing pony at the front of the MAGA parade is repulsing voters … it is going to be an expensive, ugly and ineffective shitshow to seek to get people to pivot & regroup to cheer for the ass-end of the ticket.
Plus - if the best that the down ticket candidates can do is “distance” themselves from Trump … but not too much - cause they don’t want to have Trump turn on them … how does that make them appealing?
