Haley Blames Media For Making Charleston Massacre ‘About Racism’ | Talking Points Memo

Nikki Haley, who formerly served as the South Carolina governor and then as the Trump administration U.N. ambassador, blamed “the national media” for making a white supremacist’s 2015 massacre of nine black churchgoers at a historic African American church “about race.”

Here we have Nikki Haley laying the groundwork to be nominated as Mike Pence’s VP candidate after Trump is Impeached and either resigns, or is removed from office.

Cynical, Ambitious, and desperate.

Oh, and I forgot one: “Anchor Baby”.

Wow, what unnecessary pandering to white supremacists.

First when you have to resort to going on the Glen Beck show, who was fired by Fax Snews……

I’m pretty sure it was the several hundred tiki-torch-carrying white nationalist assholes chanting “white genocide” and Nazi slogans in defense of a Civil War statute celebrating a Confederate slave owner who fought to defend the “right” to own slaves that made Charleston about racism.

What is the Indian American version of Uncle Tom?

She’s exactly right. It was about service, sacrifice and heritage.

Service to a traitorous cabal who tried to destroy the Union.

Sacrifice to maintain fellow human beings in a state of brutal chattel slavery.

A heritage of open, avowed racism and determination to subjugate non-whites.

She nailed it.

I’d say that is completely necessary pandering to white supremacists

There’s always the small minority that’s always going to be there, but people saw it as service and sacrifice and heritage.

She’s speaking the truth but not in the way she meant to.

There is, indeed, a “minority” of “people” whose views don’t even occur to her (apparently).

What? You mean, that there was nothing about the massacre that wasn’t about racism before the media happened to mention it? Really?

Bullshit. The only people who feel the need to reference or display that flag are racists. Period.

Self-avowed white supremacist murders nine black parishioners and it’s not about race? HUH?? Haley is bucking for a promotion…

She was visibly shaken after Dylan Roof massacred 9 black people in their church. She called it out at the time. She signed legislation to remove the confederate flag from the capitol. What is wrong with people like Haley?

Hmmm…let’s see:

  • Pink guy guns down historically-black-church prayer group.

  • Offers multiple racist “manifestos”.

  • Poses with Confederate flag in multiple photographs.

Yup, the liberal media clearly twisted “economic anxiety” into “racism”.

She, like the rest of her cult, rely on Americans’ short memories.

With all due respect, fuck off Nikki.
