Vanita Gupta, the widely-praised civil rights attorney who President Biden has picked to serve as associate attorney general, fielded claims from Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) that she was an “extreme radical advocate” and an “ideologue” who had no business leading the Department.”
“I am asking a question and she is giving a speech.”
Translation: “I don’t have time to let her talk because I have a long list of loaded and misleading questions to get through that all by themselves function as my propaganda message.”
If Ted Cruz thinks anyone is an ‘extreme partisan’, he better take a good long look in a mirror. On second thought, maybe he shouldn’t. . . . no reflection.
Teddy-Boy has no business being on the Judiciary Committee…or the Senate, so maybe he shouldn’t disparage other people’s credentials. Did he grill Sessions? Barr? Didn’t think so. They weren’t female, brown and possibly left-of-center.
Please, Texas, vote this seditionist OUT!
If you, like the Chupacabron, are starting from a position where civil rights are ‘extreme left’ you can’t help but arrive at idiotic conclusions like this.
Guantanamo may be problematic – he’s an American citizen, after all.
I do believe, however, that there may be a place for him in Kansas, after all’s been said and done about 1/6.
