In a glaringly racist appeal to white voters, President Donald Trump has been painting Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden as a ruthless leader in the Democratic Party’s war on the white picket-fenced utopia of American suburbs.
Who will these assholes actually appeal to? At this point, who’s sitting on the fence? Are they aiming at Kasich Republicans? People who might hold their nose and vote Dem?
Imagine a version of the McCloskeys but as Black Panthers wearing the full dress beret and leather jacket claiming that they were protecting their property from a wayward mob of Caucasians or some corrupt police officers. I highly doubt they would have been invited. Heck they might not have lived to tell about it.

This convention is a ghastly repeat of l992, when Pat Buchanan delivered that culture war diatribe that prompted Molly Ivins to observe that it sounded better in the original German. Allow me to repeat my suggestion from last night: The City of St. Louis should exercise eminent domain to seize the private road next to the McCloskeys’ house and turn it into Black Lives Matter St. Louis Public Park.
I’m serious about that suggestion.

Mark McCloskey accused Democrats of “protecting criminals from honest citizens.”
Says the man who is about to be prosecuted for a felony:

I read this last night at Political Wire, and it made me sick. McCloskey is a real asshole, but we knew that.

From someone who actually lives in the suburbs of St. Louis, they do not live in the suburbs. They live in the City of St, Louis. They specifically stole that house located in a gated community in the City of St. Louis. If they didn’t want to mix with those people they could chosen to live in Ladue, Frontenac, or way out in St, Albans and helicopter into their work place on Lindell Blvd. Which by the way they are arguing with the landlord over $25 K in rent due.
Hmmm…notice that NEITHER one of the MCloskeys is wearing a wedding ring?
