Groupon, the Chicago-based e-coupon site headquartered in Chicago, has canceled all of its current discounts for shooting ranges and clay shooting sports outings — putting them under review “following recent customer and merchant feedback” — according to a report from the Chicago Tribune on Monday. The move comes in the wake of the recent fatal mass shooting at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, in December 2012, in which 26 people — 20 children and six adults — were gunned down in one of the deadliest such incidents in the nation’s history.
