Former Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens (R), who is a frontrunner in the GOP Senate race to replace retiring Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO), is pushing back against allegations of domestic violence his ex-wife made in court records filed Monday.
It’s sad enough that Hawley will become my (Missouri) senior senator next year. Can’t say the other R’s are much better. Some good D’s but that’s a long shot.
Even thought everybody in Missouri knows that Greitens is a monster who should be in prison the Republican billionaire class continues to fund him. I wonder why?
Republicans like to put family up front and first as the party of family values. However, the actual nature of those family values needs to be discussed.
Look some groups put a gold standard on infidelity, spousal\child abuse, grift and general malevolence. And in the GOP, if you don’t hit the required points on the technicals, you might as well just give it up.
I heard Sheena Greitens last week on St Louis NPR. She’s a China scholar and had very interesting things to say about China is up to, and the relationship between Russia and China.
Listening to her I hope she doesn’t have to suffer all this Greitens shit.
It would be interesting to see the interplay between Hawley and Greitens if Greitens does get elected. Hawley will come off as an even bigger whiner than he does now. Same thing if Schmitt wins the senate seat.
I don’t think Hartzler has a chance, but she’s the only one who has the most experience in Congress.
